Domain Ter Weyden Bosch
Our history
The domain was established in 2017 and covers 0.7 hectares with approximately 3,000 vines: 70% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir, and 15% Pinot Meunier. Here, Belgian craftsmanship is translated into a glass full of refinement.
Wine estate Ter Weyden Bosch is not only a vineyard but also a place to relax. Visitors discover the magic of Hageland and taste local sparkling wines that are made with care and passion.
Vineyard & terroir
In the heart of Hageland, in Tielt-Winge, our vineyard is situated on a gently sloping hill with an orientation from east to south. This location ensures optimal sunlight and a gradual ripening of the grapes.
The combination of the local microclimate and the iron sandstone soil gives our wines their fresh, lively, and elegant character. Here, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grow in harmony with their surroundings.
It is this unique interaction between soil, location, and grape that forms the basis for the style and finesse of our sparkling wines.
The traditional method
Our sparkling wines are produced according to the 'methode traditionnelle' like all great sparkling wines of the world, which creates the fine bubbles in the bottle.
After the second fermentation, each bottle is carefully aged 'sur lattes' for at least 2 to 3 years, allowing the aromas to deepen and the flavours to develop optimally.

Sustainability
At Ter Weyden Bosch, respect for nature and the environment is central. In the vineyard, we work with attention to the rhythm of the seasons and strive for a balanced growth of the grapes, with minimal impact on the environment.
We consciously choose an approach that supports biodiversity and keeps the soil healthy in the long term. By carefully managing water, energy, and resources, we are building step by step towards a sustainable future for our estate.
